Diseases

I'm semi-watching a program on the BBC at the moment on the MMR vaccine. I was unfamiliar with the term, but after looking it up at Wikipedia, I found it's called BMR over here. It's vaccination against measles (mazelen), mumps (bof) and rubella (rode hond).

Quite sure I got this one. Which made me wonder why this kind of info isn't available online somewhere. I remember a while back reading about plans for some sort of medical dossier, which was still in the pipeline then. Wonder what happened to that. Hm.

Anyhow, it got me thinking about childhood diseases I've suffered, but not one really comes to mined. Should ask my parents, be interesting to find out. I do know my brother once had Typhoid fever, which apparently has nothing to do with actual Typhus, but still sounds pretty damned impressive, especially since the treatment was Opium drops, if I recall correctly.
