Cake!

Another cakeday! Don't you just love birthdays? Nothing much else is going on today. Just writing some cool code and playing some music. A lot of people are out of the office, for some reason, so the volume can go up.

I hate to be one of those Bloggers who can only quote from Slashdot, but I wanted to share the following » Linux Vendors to Standardize on Single Distribution. Apparently Caldera, Conectiva, SuSE and Turbolinux have agreed to standardize on a single Linux distribution to try to take on Red Hat Inc.'s dominance in the industry. I wonder what the outcome of all this will be. I've been using RedHat on and off for a while now. But I'm always open to suggestions.
