I'm reading an article in de Volkskrant about the banks in the Netherlands, who are loosing their faith about the so-called m-banking. This allows you to use your mobile phone and it's WAP functionalities to access banking tasks. My phone does support this and I've used it to check the amount I have on my account. But not much more. It's a bit too early in time to transferring money with it. Also, it's quite expensive, since WAP is slow and phonecosts aren't exactly high. But it's a nice feature nonetheless. Meanwhile, I'm also reading the Softsteel WML Tutorial » "This tutorial takes you through the basics of WAP, and provides all the information you need to create your own WAP pages using the Wireless Markup Language (WML). A WMLScript tutorial is in the pipeline - this will allow you to make more complex, interactive WAP pages."
