I'm intrigued by the theory of the Butterfly Effect. Or is it just because it's friday afternoon and I want the clock to flash forward to 16:53 so I can get up and head for the busstop? Anyhow, it's the "idea that small initial changes can result, in complex/chaotic systems, can result in massive differences in ending points in the not too distant future. It takes its name from the idea that the air pressure caused by a single butterfly flapping its wings over China can result in a huge storm over Canada."
