Quite relevant for me is the following article on Slashdot | Recipies For A Good Night's Sleep? I need a lot of sleep. Especially now that I have to work all day. Before I started here, in April, I spend about a year with minimal work for school and nothing much besides that. Well, alot of coding ofcourse, but that's not work. Plus I got to sleep when I wanted to. Go to bed about 02:00 hours and didn't wake up untill about 13:00 hours the next morning. Then suddenly I had to switch to 7:40 hours. I deceided that I have to turn off the lights at 23:30 hours to be somewhat functional the next morning. Also I use my CD player as my alarm. That beep the normal alarm clock gives makes me want to kill myself. So at night I choose a nice CD, some Opeth, My Dying Bride, Anathema or Katatonia. Then I set the alarm at the last possible minute, which is 7:40 hours. Then when the CD starts playing in the morning, I sit up as soon as possible. If I don't, I will fall asleep again. Then I drag myself to the shower and after that I am actually quite clear. Ofcourse some days are better than others.
