Watched ‘The making of King Arthur‘ last night. Looks quite good, though I have my doubts about the many things they left out of the legend. Wonder if the remains will be enough.

I’ve read a number of Asimov books, so I’m also quite curious about I, Robot. And I still want to go and see Fahrenheit 9/11. So atleast one trip to the cinema is required.

Read an interview with Bernard Lewis earlier. Made some good points. A quick Google made me stumble upon an article by his hand, entitled The Roots of Muslim Rage. Quite an interesting read.

If you’ve been here before, you might notice I’ve changed a few things. Added a bit of colour with a brandnew masthead and I’ve also changed the a few things about the inidividual post pages of the weblog. I’m quite pleased with the result, though I might change it again when I’ve got a new idea.

So, everybody appears to be back from abroad and we’re having dinner tonight to catch up. Should be nice. Meanwhile, I’m already fed up with our current summer. If you can call it that. It’s to warm and there’s no sun. It’s giving me a headache. Forgive me for discussing such trivialities.

Before I say anything else, I want to say ‘very happy birthday’ to my mum.

I had quite an eventful saturday. First I went into town with a list of things I needed. Somehow I managed to come home with a bunch of stuff (like Thirteenth Step by A Perfect Circle), but nothing from the list. Hm.

In the meantime the temperature had risen to 30°C. Then clouds gathered and it started to storm. The rain caused a rather impressive inhouse waterfall on my staircase, meaning I’ll have to call the roofguy to get that fixed sometime soon. But those buckets shure look lovely.

To cheer myself up I ordered some ribs and watched Return of the King. Then my neighbour dropped by to inform me he had been burgled. On broad daylight. What is the world coming to?
